Cube, where do we begin with these tired ass, respectability politics? Well, theseepic takedowns of your logic is a first. But here's more:

And something along the lines of this:
"If you're a criminal, you're probably not going to wanna hear this. If you're a thug stealing cigars, you probably don't like us. If you're not a thug or a criminal, don't jump to the defense of these people. Just like I shouldn't be jumping to the defense of any cops who attack decent blacks who don't riot every time bad seeds in their communities shoot their fellow "brothas." I never understood why any hardworking, not on welfare African-Americans would ever think we're talking about them."
-A hypothetical racist ass cop breaking black folks into the human and thug camps.
"I concur with the above statements."-A hypothetical, unnamed Fox News reporter who just read the above two hypothetical statements in his secret lair somewhere in Texas.
See how those pesky respectability politics work, Mr. Cube? If we can divide women into "Lady" and "Bitch" categories, we've also justified diving black people into "Black" and "Thug categories-a favorite pastime of any right-wing news station.
That reality plagues people of color every, single day in America. And you just promoted the poisonous ideals behind such thinking-the same that birthed the racially hostile environment N.W.A. described in their music.
And while we're at it, what divides a "bitch" and an "upstanding lady?" What qualities does the latter have that the former lacks?
Is an "Upstanding lady" someone who gives head on demand without question? A woman who never dares challenge anyone with penises and testes between their legs, pre-opt?
Likewise, is a "Bitch" someone who dares think on her own and decides she isn't down with disrespect?
Well, we browsed lyrics from N.W.A's "Straight Outta Compton" and "Niggaz4Life" albums to find out.
Not only does the "World's Most Dangerous Group" fail to differentiate between the two-they tar virtually every woman on both albums as "Dumb ass hookers, "Stupid Bitches,""Ho's" and whatever else they can think of-save for the outro to the 11th song off "Niggaz4Life," where Eazy-E comments, "A nigga is one who believes all ladies are bitches."
Don't compliment his dead self though, the name of that song is "One Less Bitch" and basically documents Dr.Dre and MC Ren pimping, raping and killing women who've done him wrong. (BTW, Eazy's line of thinking was basically the same as Cube's)
So from that song, can we infer that not only did N.W.A. have no idea of what constitutes an "Upstanding lady," but any "Bitch" deserves death?
If so, the message behind Ice Cube's views is that women in the "Bitch" camp are less than human. Therefore, they can be disposed of with the quickness.
Also, why didn't Cube apply the "No punks or no cowards or no slimy sons of bitches that's men" comment to Dr. Dre? The same 6'3, 200+ man who beat the living shit out of a female reporter barely half his size?
Something tells us this double standard won't apply to him as well.
