So...on a month celebrating black people...black folks supposed to thank a very racist man who happened to be white for supposedly freeing us from slavery today? When more black men are behind bars today than exists white males in the country? When black people are 5.1x as likely as white people to be jailed? When black people represent over half the prison population in 11 states?
In one Tweet, Pence did something epic. He celebrated black people during Black History Month and called us thankless former slaves.
Wonder when he's gonna Tweet out, "Happy Holocaust Remembrance Day! Let's thank the Germans for ending massacres towards those Jews." (BTW, the Soviets actually did that, but who cares about actual history when your president has somehow brought Frederick Douglass back to life?)
