Some covfete for your fancy: RompHims and Manhood

So, before we launch into this, let's give a few moments for all the alpha males--those who'll punch themselves in the face to prevent any tears during a Clint Eastwood drama flick, or who'll brag on Instagram about all the Tang that they're not actually getting in real life--to exit Stage Right.
......................................
On second thought, half of ya'll can come back in here. You guys need to hear this. The other half, your spray tan machines with a side copy of "Abusing Manlets For Dummies" are waiting in Hoboken.
Okay then. One of the latest topics hitting these Wi-Fi Waves is the male Romper. Or, in this case, the RompHim.
It's a stylish, male take on the (classic?) female clothing item. It's tight-fitting, colory (That's a new word we just invented, like, right now.), and so in time for incoming summer BBQ's.
ACED Design, a group of millennials with business savvy and cash, launched all this brouhaha with their kickstarter last month to sell the RompHims. Their purpose? Launching a men's fashion revolution. One that "allowed guys to be more stylish and fun without also sacrificing comfort, fit, and versatility."
Already, they've reached $362,673 of their $10,000 goal, and have sold all out for now. Tender. But depending on who you ask, this RompHim is either a mad scientist creation that could trailblaze like Tommy Hilfiger swag, or drop into Kriss Kross overalls purgatory.
That, and it could be part of the never-ending, secret, devious plot by the gays to transmorglify every straight man into Queenie McQueensland--as exclusively reported on all these years by the God Honest citizens on the Right!
We at HD in Effect have seen some social media responses border on fears male rompers are somehow declawing male masculinity. And just for the record, the male staffers here would sooo at least try one of the darker RompHim's. That shiii... looks kinda lowkey cool. Sans the low-crotch. Besides, professional swim and cyclist suits are pretty freaking tight and onesie-like as well. Plenty of males who exclusively have sex with females wear those outfits in competitions. Where's the outrage there?
We seemed to have reached a point in this American Way where it's fashionable (Get it?) to heavily police male sexuality's clothing parameters. Women who adopt traditionally "male" styles of clothing  can easily escape the "lesbian " label, but the vice versa of that doesn't seem to exist for men. In obvious retrospect, however, men have policed women's sexuality since, like, the start of seconds.
The comeuppance is understood.
But that policing has even ventured beyond clothing every now and then. We've seen some versions of so-called "Real Man"posts on Facebook. Ones that'll say a "Real Man" holds open doors for women and always walks on the outer sidewalk, and can NEVER, EVER wear any items of clothing society designates as "womanly," no matter how small.
Would the same people writing that not erupt if a guy wrote instructions on how to be a "Real Woman?"
Complete with instructions that they better know how to clean, cook, and be up to date with The Real Housewives of Atlanta episodes? Would any woman who dared venture beyond those boundaries  be called Rosie O' Donnell's love buddy?
Just wondering.
But getting off that tangent: Here's a much better idea we at HD in Effect have. Instead of saying, "No real man should wear this," or "No real woman should act like that," let's consider that sexuality isn't only defined by clothing choice, and it's nowhere near that simple to pin down.
Is there any evidence that all males who wear RompHims are only engaging in sexual activity with fellow males?
Is there any evidence that all women who wear tuxedos (a style originally considered MENSWEAR) or pantsuits (another stye with "masculine" origins) are only doing it with other women?
Digest that for a second.
