Many of us love kicking back a cold one to remove the edge after a hard day's work. It's an American tradition, after all, nuzzled in between calling brown-skinned people terrorists and only caring to know English. But keep in mind a key word here: after.
Why? A man recently decided to kick back those cold ones, mere minutes before starting his hard day's work.
Normally, this would make for a great YouTube Epic Work Fails Compilation, if, say, the man was working as a phone operator.
Problem is, this guy's hard day's work was not working as a phone operator. His was being a pilot for a major airline, entailing transporting thousands of innocents through the air.
A hard day's work that becomes considerably harder and more dangerous when your ass is too drunk to do it.

It's bad enough we have to constantly worry about 9/11s, suicidal pilots and disappearing planes when we fly. Now you add wasted pilots to that mix? It's a great thing they removed this guy before he had a chance to wreak havoc. But what the hell prompts somebody to get twisted before they're about to help navigate a major airline flight?
Someone at AA needs to start answering questions. That, or send the rest of their crew to that other AA.
