Quick Question: When you feel that inner racist emerging, like when your black friend is late one time, or when your Asian friend happens to score higher than you on that test, how do you verbalize it?
Do you call the black friend a "(rhymes with "migga", but with the "er" replacing "a")?" The Asian friend a "(rhymes with "Blinder Man")?" Well, this sign wants you to use the right derogatory terms for the right ethnicity/race/heritage/whatever the hell you wanna call it. A simple reminder to keep your racism proper.
We're about 99 percent sure, with a 0.00012.0% margin of error, that Uncle Ruckus animated himself to life and posted this sign in New York City. What a guy.
Know what though? Instead of making sure you're using racist terms correctly, how about you don't use them? Ever?
Instead of unleashing that xenophobic demon whenever your pal does something stereotypically attributed to his or her background, do the Harry Potter thing. Call him a "muggle."
It's not sexist. It's not albeist. And best of all, it has no hint of racism. It might have some classism, but that will be dealt with in due time.
We can all win.
